This session will deepen your confidence, understanding and practical skills so you can better engage with autistic people and those with neurodivergent experiences.
Delivered by neurodivergent trainers with years of lived and professional experience, this highly engaging session will build directly on the foundations of Quality Conversations.
From this session you will:
- Discover the fundamentals of autism and neurodiversity, the Autism Dialogue Approach and similar approaches to communication and support.
- Be introduced to the essentials of dialogic techniques useful for strengths-focused autism and other equity-deserving populations.
- Identify specific neuro-affirming adjustments to your practice.
- Be confident in applying the approaches in a range of formal and informal settings, both one to one and in groups.
What will the session be like?
- The session will be interactive with opportunities to ask questions. Please keep your cameras on if you feel comfortable to.
