Why Dialogue Lab…?

We are living through what quantum scientist David Bohm called a crisis of communication. Intense connectivity, but rarely the opportunity to slow down and explore what’s really happening – beneath the surface.

A small group comes together to explore presence, questions, tensions and our experiences. Rather than debating, persuading or seeking quick answers, we practice communicating authentically, listening deeply, being familiar with silence, and becoming curious about our assumptions.

Dialogue Lab is a space for genuine inquiry.

There is no fixed agenda and no requirement to reach an agreement or speak, unless you feel it’s necessary.

The invitation is simply to participate in a different kind of dialogue and discover what new understanding might emerge between us.

Arrive with nothing figured out. The ground rises to meet you.

And whoever shows up are the right people. Can you be truly open to new meaning?

All welcome.

The Practice

Our conversations are guided by four simple principles:

Authentic Voice
Speaking from direct experience rather than performance or certainty.

Deep Listening
Listening with curiosity rather than preparing a response.

Suspension
Holding assumptions in view without immediately defending or rejecting them.

Respect
Honouring the dignity and perspective of every participant.

“Whoever turns up are the right people.”

No experience required.
