Spring 2024. Booking Soon. We are excited to be launching our long-awaited training course in 2024! This will be for a select number of therapists (including SLT’s and OT’s) and coaches (life, executive etc) and other suitably qualified individuals to become qualified ADA Practitioners.
This course is brand new and unique worldwide, and will provide you and your practice with cutting edge professional helping skills in social, cognitive and autistic-supportive landscape. ADA Training has a powerful underpinning theory and application, which places the dialogic relationship at the centre of the helping professions (groups and pairs), and directly addressing inherent, systemic power imbalances within today’s fast-changing paradigms of autism and neurodiversity. The course, designed by people with a diverse range of neurotypes and taking place online and in-person, will contain both taught and highly experiential, interpersonal elements and graduation will require you to be faculty and peer-assessed on the development of your own existing practice and client-base. Upon course completion, you will be able to refer to yourself as an ADA Practitioner.
We are exploring accreditation and partnerships and are aiming to have the course certified by a recognised professional body. We are currently aligned with BACP and EMCC Codes of Ethics.
– To begin your journey to become an ADA Practitioner/Facilitator, we strongly recommend attending out introductory course and a professional dialogue series. These are currently rolling – see events page. These programmes will serve as your entry point onto the full training programme. There will be a limited number of places on the training course so application will be tough, we therefore strongly recommend you undertake both of these programmes.
We would particularly like to encourage neurodivergent practitioners and student practitioners to consider applying.
*therapists including SLT’s and OT’s.
